Does a ‘home’ link on page header help SEO?

Although including a page header 'Home' does not impact on your search engine ranking, so from a search engine marketing perspective it will not count. However, it is useful from a usability standpoint. Including this header makes your website more user-friendly, easier to navigate and therefore should be considered.
If you manage to bring a person to your website and you make him leave it in one second because it is not user firendly, all your search engine marketing efforts to drive traffic will be useless.
