Today all Facebook users were introduced to the upgraded version of its ‘Share’ button! As most news are mentioning, this is the Facebook’s version of the retweet and it has been long-awaited by its users. Basically, the ‘via’ feature allows you to share content from your friends’ wall, just as before, but now it offers you the “via” link attached for attribution. The option can however be removed by users. At the moment, the ‘via’ feature is only available for links.

To try it yourself, just go on a friend’s wall, find a link posted by him and click share. You will see a new ‘via’ option. The link will appear on your profile, with a via link pointing to your friend’s profile.
